R Digital Design is one of my favorites for obvious reasons, this one was for my son. I’ve had him using Photoshop and Illustrator since middle school, partly because it’s an invaluable life skill… and partly because I once had a late-night “school project crisis” that nearly broke me. Instead of a last-minute Walmart cart full of craft chaos, we created a digital board in Adobe and printed it overnight at Walgreens...cheaper, cleaner, and sanity-saving. So when he landed his first potential logo job and suddenly realized he didn’t even have a logo for his invoice, I stepped in and built him a simple first identity: clean, slightly retro, and red...his favorite color. It’s not his final logo (it shouldn’t be), but it was the right start at the right moment...and I’ll always support young people building confidence through real work, especially for my boys.
