RECIPE PAGE DIGITIZING PROGRESSIONS

High resolution photo of the
original pages.

Hand drawn in Photoshop to
maintain the original integrity
and personality of the original
book. (per the clients preference)
Final product...upgraded with a notes page, recipe dedication
page numbers with character logo. I added a very clean and
legible recipe title on the left hand side as the client wanted to
keep her original hand written titles as well. The hand traced png files overlayed on the antiqued paper allow the new book to maintain a lot of the original vibe and familiarity as the client was very sad about the original recipe book falling apart.
Broccoli Cheese Soup

Logo add-on for proper acknowledgement/credit for the original recpie.
Orange Glazed Pork Chops

Clients recipe book contains an assortment of recipes with multiple contributors...so I created a logo from their signature that serves as a call-out on each recipe to their credit in the new book.
Sid's Chicken & Dumplings

Preserved from a long lost family recipe card, this one gets an a copy of the original recipe card, as well as a story about the importance of the recipe and the joy in rediscovering the recipe. After all...the taste of a favorite meal...brings important memories just flooding back. It also got the corresponding logo callout.
Chelsea's Chicken Pot Pie

This recipe was taken from a screen capture from the Notes app and preserved in the second add-on phase of this cookbook project.
Chicken Licken

This recipe, originally two pages, was condensed into a single page in order to conserve space and maintain structure in the new copy.
